ArtWalkRavenswood Limited Edition Print Project

Three artworks will be selected for this year's limited edition print project.  The giclee prints will be available for sale during ArtWalk on October 4 and 5.  Winning prints will be jury selected.

Project Details

5 giclee posters will be printed of each winning artwork by Peter Jones Gallery.  Three posters will be sold during ArtWalk as a fundraiser, one will be given to the artist as a prize and one will be kept by Peter Jones Gallery as a printer's proof.  Up to 10 posters may be printed of each after ArtWalk (depending on sales during ArtWalk).  All funds raised through the prints will be considered a donation, and the artist will receive a donation letter for the amount of the sales (minus any printing costs).  Winning artists and artwork will be highlighted on the official ArtWalkRavenswood map.

How to Enter:

ArtWork for Jury: Artwork must be an original digital artwork.  Artists have the option of sending a low-resolution file for entry (a the higher the resolution will be cleaner and has a result may affect judging).

Project Fee: Artists can submit an artwork for $5.

Deadline for Entries: Artists must have their artwork, signed release form and entry fee submitted by August 1, 2008 to ArtWalkRavenswood in order to be considered for the limited edition print project.  Artwork and release form can be sent by e-mail (below) or dropped off*.  Project fee can be paid online on the ArtWalkRavenswood website, or dropped off.

ArtWork for giclee print (if selected):

§         Art should be original digital artwork or print ready digital image of artwork.

§         Poster size 22 x 18 sheet. 

§         Submitted artwork must be a minimum 150 dpi at reproduction size. 

§         If artwork submitted is less than reproduction size, the dpi must be higher for best print quality. 

§         File size should be no less than 12 MB size; optimal size is 20 MB at full size.

§         The printer has the right to size work to fit the final poster size.

§         Artist must deliver art to ArtWalkRavenswood Office at Angel Sales, Inc (4147 N. Ravenswood Avenue) or e-mail to artwalkrav@gmail.com by August 18.

*Signed release form would need to be scanned to be e-mailed.
