This year The Chicago Mosaic School will be hosting a visiting artist Matteo Randi from Washington, D.C. Mr. Randi will be teaching the Ravenna Technique and is the only mosaic artist in the United States that teaches this method. Please stop by The Chicago Mosaic School to witness this ancient mosaic method in action.

In addition, in the CMS Gallery will be an exhibition of the Smalti Sister. This is a show of seven contemporary women artists working in Smalti glass, an ancient Byzantine glass material.
