Cambodian American Heritage Museum and Killing Fields Memorial will launch its second major exhibit Khmer Spirit: Arts & Culture of Cambodia on Sunday, September 30, 2007, from 1-5 p.m. at the museum, 2831 W. Lawrence.

The exhibit features Arts and Artifacts of Cambodia featuring paintings, sculpture, bas-reliefs, instruments and costumes  celebrating the beauty, grace, and talents of the Cambodian people. These artifacts represent centuries of tradition in music, sculpture, dance, and art that are as integral to modern Cambodian life as they were some 500 - 1,000 years ago.
