Special Event: Featuring two dance performances on Sunday, October 7th.

"Architectural Artifacts, Inc. was founded in 1987 by Stuart Grannen. The focus has always been on pieces of intrigue, objects of a lost world, the aesthetic and the beautiful. Now, with the expansion of the showroom from 30,000 square feet to 80,000 square feet and the completion of our 15,000 square foot Museum of Historic Chicago Architecture, the chances of seeing something that you've never seen before is even greater."

The reknowned Mordine & Company Dance Theater will lift you to new heights of experiential dance: "Mordine & Company Dance Theatre, the longest running contemporary dance company in the Midwest, will return to the ArtsWalk and Architectural Artifacts, Inc. Last year's performance enthralled and inspired, and left the audience wanting more! Artistic Director/ choreographer Shirley Mordine and the outstanding and diverse dancers will present an exciting, theatrical new piece in this gorgeous setting. Don't miss it! For more information about the company, please visit www.mordine.org."

Sunday, October 7th, 3 - 3:30pm

Lin Shook's Perceptual Motion, Inc. performs "Whodunit?', a suspense-laden murder mystery in which text, music and movement entwine in a dance of deceit and deception, lust and loyalty, cunning calculation. Also performed is The Thread of Time, an exploration of the flow of time in our lives through sensuous rhythms and the timeless images of labyrinths. As the dance unfolds, fabric strips of rich magenta, effervescent orange and tranquil violet-blue are formed into a visually stunning labyrinth-like path that takes on its own life.
