A tour of arts and industry in the Ravenswood Corridor

The signature event of ArtWalkRavenswood is our October Tour of Arts & Industry in honor of Chicago Artists' Month. Each year, the Tour of Arts & Industry has encompassed more than 50 venues and hundreds of working, professional and emerging professional artists.

The 2008 Tour of Arts & Industry will be October 4th - 5th, from 11am - 6pm

Chicago Artists' Month

October is Chicago Artist Month and AWR is proud to be a part of it. Chicago Artists Month is an annual celebration of Chicago’s vibrant visual arts community during the month of October.

The 2008 Chicago Artists Month theme is "Artists and Issues that Matter" and the slogan is "Vote Art!". These issues could be those of most concern/interest to the participating artists/organizations, including political, environmental, moral, social, global or personal issues.

For more information about Chicago Artists' Month or to register your public venue or performance with the city, visit www.chicagoartistsmonth.org. The deadline to register with the city is May 15, 2008.
